Laser receivers Australia

The receiver is how you read a rotating laser at distance or in the sun. Millimetre displays (Rod Eye 160, TUF DLD) are what concreters actually want. Colour must match the laser — red receiver, red laser.

How to choose

  • House slabs: Rod Eye 120 or 140 is enough.
  • Millimetre work and machine-adjacent: Rod Eye 160 Digital or TUF DLD.
  • Green lasers need a green receiver. There is no workaround.

FAQ

Can I mix brands?
Often, if the colour matches. A TUF receiver will read a red Rugby. A red Rod Eye will not read a green TUF 208G.
Do I need a new bracket?
If the staff clamp is shot, yes. A $40 bracket is cheaper than a crooked reading all week.
